At Manolis’ tavern you can enjoy all traditional Greek dishes. What makes everything special in our restaurant is that most products are homegrown (see local products).

Here are a few examples from the menu, just to give you a taste:

Appetizers:
*aubergine slices with feta (own recipe)
*tzatziki: yoghurt with cucumber and garlic puree
*spanakopita: spinach, feta cheese, spring onions, egg and seasoning wrapped in phyllo pastry
* Greek salad: a tomato salad with cucumber, red onion, feta cheese, olives, dressed with olive oil


Vegetarian main dishes:
* Bamies: okra with tomato sauce
* briam: an oven-baked ratatouille of summer vegetables
* gigantes: baked beans with tomato sauce and various herbs
* spanakorizo: spinach and rice stew cooked in lemon and olive oil sauce
* yemista: baked tomatoes and peppers, stuffed with a rice and herb filling


Meat and seafood dishes:
*moussaka: oven-baked layer dish with minced meat, aubergine and potatoes,topped with a savory custard
* paidakia: grilled lamb chops with lemon, oregano, salt and pepper
* octopus, grilled in vinegar, oil and oregano
* “Maragas”: pieces of beef, cheese, aubergine and courgette, baked in ovenpaper (own recipe)
* stifado: rabbit or beef stew with pearl onions, vinegar, red win and cinnamon.


Desserts and sweets:
*loukoumades: fried balls of dough, drenched in honey
* rizogalo: rice pudding
* yoghurt with honey and fresh fruit


Drinks:
Naxos wines (red, white, rose), retsina, ouzo, raki, Greek coffee and frappe coffee (cold)
