Welcome to our taverna
Manolis’ Tavern is a sizeable tavern, situated right on the beautiful beach of Agia Anna/Plaka. It has been here since 1973 (!) and although modernized is still managed by the descendents of the same family.
The restaurant is well known for its excellent kitchen and specializes in traditional Greek dishes. Most of the meat and vegetables are produced by local farms on the island and there is fresh fish every day. It is possible to drink “Naxos”-wine and tap-beer.
There is a special pizza-oven and a big grill. The portions are more than generous and there is food for every wallet and taste (including vegetarian). Manolis’ had the pleasure of hosting many wedding- and baptism parties over the years. The tavern opens for breakfast at 08.00 in the morning and closes when the last customers have left. All the dishes can also be ordered as take-away.
